Amid the wave of urban digital governance, IST leverages over 30 years of expertise in document production and intelligent equipment R&D to launch the customized ePlate Series QR-code Building Address Plate, equipping buildings in Shenzhen with a new generation of "digital ID cards". This project is not only a comprehensive upgrade of traditional building plates but also an innovative practice that deeply integrates refined urban governance and public services.

Traditional building plates suffer from single functionality and incomplete information, with long-standing issues such as hard-to-find addresses, outdated data, and inadequate management: couriers and delivery riders face delays due to unclear addresses, important clients and emergency rescue miss opportunities because of inaccurate location and community management lacks digital tools, restricting patrol efficiency.

As digital city construction advances, the popularization of QR-code technology has provided an opportunity to address these pain points. The Public Security Bureau of Shenzhen has launched a citywide replacement program for QR-code building address plates.
