From February 19 to 23, 2025, the 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup Table Tennis Tournament was grandly held at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center. Drawing on years of experience in document management and verification for large-scale events, IST undertook the document production and management project for this tournament, providing full-process intelligent document services for the international sports event and safeguarding its safe and smooth operation with technological strength.

To ensure that thousands of athletes, staff members and media representatives could obtain their documents quickly and in an orderly manner, we innovatively adopted a dual-track model of "centralized document production + on-site document production":

Through rigorous process control and seamless coordination with on-site personnel, document management during the event achieved zero delays and zero errors, providing solid support for the event's access control management.

The event marked the first application of the "e-Photo" mini-program from IST's independently developed "ePass" product series, offering registered personnel one-stop intelligent ID photo collection services. The mini-program integrates multiple AI technologies:

- Intelligent Calibration: Guides users to capture compliant ID photos.

- Image Quality Inspection: Automatically assesses photo clarity, lighting and other indicators.

- Intelligent Background Processing: One-click background replacement to meet document production standards.

- Face Comparison: Collected information is compared with the ID card database in real time, and any anomalies are verified immediately, preventing identity fraud and theft at the source

With simple operations, registrants can complete information enrollment, with rapid background verification, greatly improving collection efficiency and accuracy.

Meanwhile, during the verification phase, IST adopted a dual-parallel verification model of "Handheld Verification Terminal + Facial Recognition eGate":

- Handheld Verification Terminal "Multi-Functional Portable Data Management Terminal": Flexibly applicable to various entrances and exits, it quickly reads document information and assists security personnel in verification.

- Self-service Clearance eGates with Facial Recognition: Five lanes are equipped to automatically match access permissions and achieve efficient traffic diversion. Registrants do not need to activate document on-site, they can pass directly via facial recognition or card scanning. Even without a physical document, entry is possible through facial recognition, truly realizing "Unified Person-Document Identity, Convenient and Contactless Access".
